The market leader

Nova Trading is the unquestionable market leader. The company is one of the leading distributors of stainless steel and aluminum metallurgical products in Europe.

Nova Trading has a hi-tech machine park used for the pretreatment of products, making the service center the biggest in this part of Europe. The company offers: cutting coils into sheets and strips, grinding and brushing of coils and sheets, PE plastic coating of sheets, grinding and mirror polishing of round tubes and bars.

Nova Trading, along with its sister company Nova Metale and the distribution company Nova Trading France, forms a business group.

As part of the collaboration between Nova Trading and Nova Metale in 2023, the manufacturing division MCM / METAL COMPONENTS MANUFACTURER was established, specializing in the production of components and finished products from stainless steel and aluminum for the industry. MCM offers services such as 2D laser cutting of sheets, 3D laser cutting of open profiles, round, square and rectangular tubes, sheet bending, deburring, welding, and more.

The Nova Trading business group has recently launched flat copper products.

Production facilities

For many years Nova Trading  makes a consequent policy of continous improvement. The company launches new products and expands the machine park with new production lines, devices etc.  The result of the aforementioned actions is building the most modern service center in Europe, dedicated to pretreatment of stainless steel, aluminum and copper metallurgical products. 

The supplement of Nova Trading offer is Nova Metale manufacturing capacity. The company, launched in 2019 in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone in Ostaszewo, is a hi-tech production facility equipped with storage systems and production lines integrated into one system, according to the 4.0 Industry Concept.

    Since 1997 Nova Trading has a quality management system based on ISO 9000 standard. Currently, it has been renewed by Det Norske Veritas Poland.

    Nova Trading holds an „A” category supplier title, that is awarded by many clients. The title means a high-quality products’ delivery, low complaint rate throuhout a longterm cooperation and the highest industry work standards.

    NOVA TRADING has been assigned a NATO Commercial and Government Entity Code (NCAGE) with the following number:

    The NCAGE code is a unique five-character identifier assigned to companies, institutions, and organizations operating in the fields of procurement, logistics, and standardization within the NATO Codification System (NCS).

    Having an NCAGE code:

    Nova Trading is registered in the international environmental disclosure system CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project).

    CDP is a global non-profit organization that runs one of the most recognized and reliable systems for collecting, verifying, and evaluating environmental data. Data reported to CDP includes, among others, greenhouse gas emissions, resource management, and climate-related actions.

    Participation in CDP is an important element of the development of our ESG approach.

    Systematic data reporting:

  • Respect for the natural environment

    Feeling responsible for the natural environment and its limited resources, Nova Trading has implemented an environmental management system. We are among the few companies operating in our industry which hold an ISO 14001:2015 certificate. All the processes taking place within the company are controlled with regard to their impact on the surroundings. Our requirements limiting the negative influence on the natural environment are stricter than legal regulations.

    We have a Nova Trading Carbon Footprint Report, which we make available to our business partners upon request.

  • Nova Trading – an AEO certificate holder

    In April 2012 Nova Trading was awarded an AEO certificate (Authorised Economic Operator) by customs authorities. Having been audited for several weeks by the Customs Chamber and having confirmed its compliance with customs requirements and safety standards as well as its financial solvency and proper management of commercial records, customs authorities found Nova Trading to be a reliable company. 

    The status of an Authorised Economic Operator requires the company to share some of the responsibility for the safety of external borders of the European Union. In exchange, Authorised Economic Operators enjoy some privileges in the sphere of customs operations, which includes prioritizing their customs declarations, reduced number of inspections of documents, specially designated AEO service areas at individual locations of customs authorities, etc.

  • High quality of welding

    In 2022, we successfully passed the certification process of the Welding Department for compliance with PN-EN ISO 3834-2 - Quality requirements for welding metal materials - Part 2: Full quality requirements and Factory Production Control for compliance with EN 1090-1 - Assessment rules compliance of structural elements.
    The certification process was carried out by TÜV SÜD and confirmed that the requirements specified in the above standards were met.
    Certification of the Factory Production Control confirms the internal control of the production process as well as the supervision of the quality and safety level of the manufactured products.

HISTORY

July 2026

As of July 1, 2026, Nova Trading SA and Nova Metale Sp. z o.o. have officially joined forces following the acquisition of Nova Metale by Nova Trading SA.

September 2025

Nova Trading S.A. has been registered in the NATO Codification System (NCS) and has been assigned the NCAGE code: 9CA6H.
The assignment of the NCAGE code opens up opportunities for the company to participate in projects that require compliance with NATO alliance standards.

Expanding the offer of the Nova Trading business group with flat copper products - sheets, coils and strips

Establishment of MCM /METAL COMPONENTS MANUFACTURER - a department specializing in the PRODUCTION OF COMPONENTS and READY PRODUCTS made of stainless steel and aluminum for the industry.

Installation of new press brakes, two of which have the capability to work in tandem, enabling the bending of details with a length of up to 6,000 mm!

A new TRUMPF FIBER LASER was installed at Nova Trading Service Centre - working table: 2000x6000 mm.

May 2022

On May 16, 2022, Nova Trading France SARL with its seat in Toulouse was registered in France. Nova Trading S.A. is one hundred percent shareholder in it.

The warehouse in Toulouse was launched in June 2022. It is our first warehouse outside Poland!

Nova Trading in cooperation with Nova Metale offers laser cutting of round, square and rectangular tubes / 3D.

Nova Metale, a sister company, is established to run production operations in a new servicing centre to be created within the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.

October 2015

Launching of a new line for grinding and polishing of square and rectangular tubes and flat bars (Surface Engineering).

Grinding and polishing of square and rectangular tubes was carried out until March 2025.

March 2015

Waterjet - a new service has been launched at the Nova Trading Service Center in Torun.
The waterjet operated in our company until November 2022.

February 2015

A new Nova Trading logistic centre opened in Jaworzno / Poland

Since 16 February 2015, the customers of Nova Trading from southern Poland and from the countries of Central Europe are provided with services at a new logistic centre in Jaworzno. A new warehouse and office facilities have been constructed there in 11 Rozwojowa Street within the area of the Jaworzno Industrial Park. As a result, the current company branches in Sosnowiec and Katowice, both warehouses and offices, have been moved to the new location. Only production facilities for grinding and polishing of square and rectangular tubes still remain in Sosnowiec.

The shape of the newly constructed building astonishes with a form which is very unusual for industrial facilities. Even before its official commissioning, the logistic centre was nominated as a candidate for the Polish Investment of the Year. The building was designed by „Pracownia 111” architectural office and Erbud S.A. was a general contractor.

Installation of the second CTL line for cutting coils into sheets in a newly built warehouse in Torun (4.000 square meters of space).

Nova Trading awarded an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certificate by customs authorities.

June 2011

Nova Trading opened a branch office in Bremgarten, Switzerland.

This branch operated until June 2025.

Installation of the slitting line.

Installation of the next line for grinding & mirror polishing of round tubes in Torun,; it improves the maximum diameter capacity up to 168,3 mm.

November 2005

The official opening of the new Service Centre in Torun - relocation of  Flat Products Warehouse to the new hall. The previous building is now intended to Long Products storage. In December 2005 the grand launch of cutting of coils into sheets line took place.

April 2005

Nova Trading (for the first time!) among "500 Biggest Poilsh Companies"  according to Rzeczpospolita. The company took 447 place.

October 2004

 Change of the legal form of civil partenrship to a joint-stock company.

November 2003

Instalation of the line for grinding and polishing of square and rectngular tubes.
Production was discontinued in March 2025.

April-August 2003

The new warehouse dedicated for a new grinding line for sheets and plates was opened in Torun.

November 2002

Nova Tarding widened its offer with aluminum products.

October 2000

Installation of the first grinding and mirror polishing line for round tubes and bars in Sosnowiec.

Since that moment range of services and working machines has been constantly developing. The machine park is constantly expanded with devices for stainless steel  products pretreatment.

Over time, the production lines for grinding and polishing of round tubes and bars were moved to the Service Center in Torun.
The Nova Trading warehouse in Sosnowiec operated until 2025.

1999

The first export transaction.

New warehouse in Sosnowiec was bought. The building was part of the company's assets until 2025.

 

February 1997

The first stainless steel stockholder with ISO 9002 TUV certificate.

September 1997

Sales Office in Gdansk was opened. Nova Trading is a market leader.

In just a few years from being established, the Company has become the biggest stainless steel stockholder on the Polish market, with the leader position in the field of turnover, sales, and storage area. This has never changed.

1993

Opening the first branch of the company in Warsaw and a sales office in Katowice.

February 1992

The first autonomous import transaction.

10 tons of stainless steel materials from Finland sold in one day…

The head office was located at Szosa Chełmińska 34/36 in Torun and the warehouse was situated in a rented hall at Szosa Bydgoska. At that time, the company was made up of only 12 employees (with one warehouse man) and, what’s interesting, many of these people work in Nova Trading today or retired here.

18 june 1990

Nova Trading started operating as a civil partnership consisted of two shareholders: Tadeusz Pająk and Piotr Paweł Orłowski. Since the company establishment, Iwona Gostomska-Pająk was responsible for the creation and management of the department of finance and accounting. 

Nova Trading started its business as one of the first companies dealing only with stainless steel on the Polish market.

AFTER HOURS

Nova Band

Nova Band exists since 2013. What brought together the members working in different departments of Nova Trading  was the shared passion for blues and rock.

First concerts of Nova Band took place in 2015. The band performed during the event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Company and opening of the new branch office in  Jaworzno, the family picnic for employees and in „Lizard King” music club in Torun. Since then, a lot has happened - Nova Band regularly attended the World Music Day held by Torunska Agenda Kulturalna. The band gave a performance at a branch conference during Innovations-Technologies-Machines Fair in Poznan/Poland and „Stainless” Trade Fair in Brno/ The Czech Republic. Nova Band played on stages of many famous music clubs in Warsaw, Gdansk, Katowice and Wroclaw. In 2020 the band released its own album (!).

Feel invited to visit the website of Nova Band, where you can find pictures and videos from the concerts, actions for fans, relations from the events, etc. Nova Band also runs its Facebook profile and You Tube channel..

AFTER HOURS

Sport

Nova Trading encourages its employees to pursue the idea of active free time by the following actions:

Multisport Card

The company gives employees the opportunity to purchase Multisport cards at a competitive price. Thanks to the cards, employees can use the best sports facilities throughout Poland including: fitness, gyms, swimming pools, ice rinks, climbing walls, dance courses, martial arts, etc.

Volleyball

At the end of 2014, employees came up with an initiative to start an internal company volleyball league. This created an opportunity for the personnel to visit a gymnasium rented especially for this purpose once a week.

Runners Club

In June 2015, the runners club “Stale biegam” [“I run constantly”] was formed. Everyone who decides to join the club receives financial support to cover the participation fees for individual races as well as special t-shirts with the “Stale biegam” logo.

 

Cyclic Club

In October 2017, Nova Trading employees came up with an initiative to start a cycling club “Zakręceni na stale” [“Still Turning”]. The club members get the sports outfits and a partial financial support to cover costs of participation in races.

Nova Trading football representation

Nova Trading team plays in a Polish companies’ inter-branch football „STEEL CUP” tournament and „Futbol-Arena” games.

Ice Swim Club

In December 2020 the „Stale w wodzie” [„Still in water”] club was created. The club brings winter swimming enthusiasts together. Nova Trading provides club’s members in ponchos, hats and gloves.

Motorcycle Club

In 2022, Nova Trading "Rhino Rhiders" Motorcycle Club was founded. Club members had the opportunity to go on an integration trip to the Sowie Mountains.

Shooting Club

In our company, since December 2023, the Shooting Club "STALE DO CELU" ["Steel to Target"] has been in operation.
