Nova Trading invests

Polish stainless steel service centre Nova Trading is installing a new polishing line for stainless steel coils at its service centre in Torun, central Poland, a company spokesperson informs Steel Business Briefing. The investment follows the installation of tube polishing and coil slitting equipment in 2007, as previously reported.

The new line, with a maximum throughput of 20 metres/minute, will take over the majority of work from an existing polishing line and increase throughput by an unspecified amount. It will handle coil 0.4-2.0mm thick, up to 1,600mm wide, with a maximum weight of 15 tonnes. The current line has a maximum output of 700 tonnes/month.

The new machinery, with which Nova hopes to increase its sales volume, is being installed by Swiss firm DEMIS and will begin operating in March.

Last year Nova Trading opened a new sales office in Zurich, Switzerland, and appointed a sales agent in Prague, Czech Republic, in a move to increase turnover.

Nova, which principally handles austenitic and ferritic sheet, plate, tube and bar, has three warehouses in Poland with a combined area of over 21,000 sq metres, as previously reported. The company sold 33,000 tonnes of steel in 2007 and expects a 3% year-on-year increase for 2008.

Spółka ma nadzieję, że nowa linia pozwoli na zwiększenie produkcji

 

Nova Trading - polskie centrum serwisowe - instaluje nową linię do szlifowania kręgów ze stali nierdzewnej w swoich zakładach w Toruniu. Nowa linia ma maksymalną przepustowość 20 metrów na minutę. Będzie ona obrabiała kręgi o grubości 0,4-2,0 mm, szerokości - 1600 mm i maksymalnej wadze 15 ton.

 

Spółka ma nadzieję, że nowa linia pozwoli na zwiększenie produkcji. Zainstaluje ją szwajcarska firma DEMIS, a pracę rozpocznie w marcu.

 

W ubiegłym roku spółka Nova Trading otworzyła nowe biuro sprzedaży w Zurychu w Szwajcarii oraz przedstawicielstwo w czeskiej Pradze.

 

Spółka sprzedaje blachy ze stali austenitycznej i ferrytycznej, rury i pręty. Posiada trzy magazyny w Polsce o łącznej powierzchni 21 tys. mkw. Nova w 2007 roku sprzedała 33 tys. ton stali i szacuje, że w 2008 roku sprzedaż wzrośnie o 3 proc.
